This is going to be a short post because……

it is already 10.56pm, and I want to get up for a 6am RPM class at the gym in the morning.

This morning when my alarm went off at 5am I went straight back to sleep.  Eeeek! Woke forty minutes later when Mr G’s alarm went off.  Luckily, still made it in time for the 6am BodyPump class.

I am going to turn off the computer shortly, because I still have to

* make my lunch for tomorrow.

* get my breakfast ready, as I shower at the gym in the morning, go straight to work, and eat breakfast at school.

* pack my gym bag.

If you’re going to JFDI, you do have to be ready!

      I wondered why you left two comments at first – and then I realised wordpress was making me approve your comments again after it had “promoted” you to being published without approval. 😉 I can only think it’s because I was not posting there for a while……hangs head in shame 😦

      It’s not been all smooth sailing this round – but I feel soooooo good when I’m in the groove. And I’m full of energy when I get to work at 7.45am to start the day it’s great. 🙂

      Hi there Heather and welcome to 12wbt – you’ll be so glad you joined!

      I can’t take credit for the name – I have to thank my high school PE teacher Ms Dodemond. She used to say that whenever (now we’re talking the 1970’s here) our class of girls complained about doing anything which involved exerting ourselves! 🙂 I have struggled all my life with my weight – and her words have stuck with me – but it was only a year ago that the penny finally dropped about them.

      I find the early mornings work for me – as long as I get to bed early enough. I am a full time primary school teacher with two kids 10 and 14 and I live 35 minutes away from my school. So if I don’t get my main calorie burn of the day done in the morning it doesn’t happen because my afternoons and evenings are so busy. The exception is my weekly Zumba class! 😉

      You’ll find a way that works for you. Michelle Bridges’ advice is to do it in the mornings (not necessarily 6am though) for a few reasons she’ll explain during preseason. So I would say follow her advice – but if you find it doesn’t suit then just remember any hour is a good hour to burn those calories!

    its great to read these posts….i am also a school teacher and mornings are my worst enemy so i was hoping to do the exercise in the evening….hope this is ok

      Hope the exercise is going to plan for you Lee. Anytime is a good time of it works for you. I just find most evenings and afternoons I’m too drained after a day at work, so the mornings work well for me.
